One of the bright pages in the history of Belarusian art is the name and work of the teacher and painter Yury Moiseevich Pen. He lived in Vitebsk for more than forty years. This is the most fruitful period of his work, which he dedicated to his beloved city and the development of national artistic culture... Yehuda Pen (1854–1937) was a distinguished Belarusian painter of jewish origin, also known as a teacher of Mark Chagall. The album with a part of his works was firstly published in 2006. This publication presents all artist's works from the museum funds of Belarus.
